The police are saying that a man shot his mother before getting out of the car to shoot at cars
A 22-year-old man is accused of opening fire on his mom in a fatal Thanksgiving shooting on a Michigan roadway, authorities say. Police in Pleasant Ridge and Royal Oak said officers responded around 10:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving for reports of a crash and shots fired.
The suspect has been taken into custody at this time, police said late Thursday night. A woman was shot in the head and killed by an unknown shooter which occurred under an overpass 15 miles north of Detroit. Police responded and found the woman’s body, but there have been no leads as to who might be responsible as of yet.

Family trouble took a dark turn when a man shot his mom as she was driving. The woman’s son exited the vehicle and fired a shot at her before running off, authorities said. Investigations have revealed that the kidnapped man was strangled to death.
A 43-year-old female driver was shot in her thigh when she drove one of the company vehicles. Thankfully, she was in stable condition when she arrived at the hospital. Troy resident was quickly found by Royal Oak police and apprehended.
The Troy man had a 9mm handgun on him when caught, according to the Macomb Sheriff. He is now in jail and awaiting charges from the Oakland County Prosecutor’s office. They have not identified his mother yet – she was pronounced dead at the scene.
