Resident Evil 4 will reportedly be getting a new free appearance as part of an update in 2022
Resident Evil 4 VR launched on October 21st as a virtual reality exclusive re-envisioned for the future of the metaverse – the Oculus Quest 2.
Resident Evil 4 VR was a success and it seems like its Mercenary mode will face free DLC in the future. So far there have been no announcements about updates to the game. However, a new video on YouTube from Biohazard Declassified showed what will be included in the update for free. Said video was uploaded prematurely by accident. Was subsequently set to private but our group with help from Biohazard Declassified made a backup of it just in case.
For those who aren’t familiar, Mercenary is a minigame that takes place in an arcade-like environment. It can be played as a team or as an individual. You have to kill as many enemies as possible before a helicopter can extract you from the battlefield. Fighting enemies and killing them will contribute to your score. It’s a way for players to indirectly compete over who has the highest score since we’re keeping track of it.
DTAC and True have agreed to merge with large goals in mind
