Galaxy S21’s Android 12 120Hz bug fix is coming soon

It’s been less than a couple of weeks since the OneUI 4.0 based on Android 12 officially started rolling out. The U.S. Galaxy S21 models received the update on the same day as international models—but there was a bug related to refreshing rates that popped up in the new firmware.

Samsung is looking to fix the refresh rate issue for devices running on Android 12 soon.

For those who don’t know, this bug affects the refresh rate on the Galaxy S21 when you stop touching it – 120Hz to 60Hz. This is not the default behavior of this phone and Samsung has acknowledged the issue many people have been facing.

A Samsung forum moderator has mentioned that the company is aware of this issue and working on a fix. The bug only affects the Snapdragon 888 version of the Galaxy S21 series’ devices and can be solved by future software updates.

I haven’t encountered any bug in Android 12 after updating to Galaxy S21 12. I would also like to know if you faced any similar issues and remedies until the final release of this update by Samsung so I can be fully aware.
