3 eliminated, 6 wounded in Michigan institution capturing, sheriff states. 15-year-old arrested
This morning there were three casualties and six injuries when the 15-year old gunman opened fire at the Michigan high school. The shooter at Oakland County High School was brought into custody by law enforcement just before 1 pm on November 30th. The 15-year-old sophomore has been taken into custody, the Sheriff’s department said.
A school teacher was among the six people injured in this shooting. A student used a semiautomatic weapon, which led to police and helicopters surrounding the building. Nearly 100 people called 911 in response to the shooting.
According to the report by ClickOnDetroit, the suspect was arrested without resistance. There is no motive given yet. The shooting took place in an area where history classes are located, so it is possible the perpetrator was targeting this group of people. Nobody has been identified or released age information about any victims as of now.
